Kathy (‘90) and Eddie O’Brien (‘87) are steadfast pillars of support for initiatives across UTC, showing genuine dedication to campus life.

Together, they have made significant contributions to both academic and athletic endeavors. Their support extends to the Marching Mocs, where the heartbeat of campus spirit resonates, and to the esteemed Gary W. Rollins College of Business, known for its commitment to nurturing business leaders of tomorrow.

“We always knew that we would find ways to support the University by our time, presence and giving, thus ensuring that future generations will have the same opportunity to develop skills for their future careers, find the enjoyment we had at campus events and give back to the University and their community,” Eddie shared.

Among their many contributions is establishing an international studies scholarship for UTC business students, exemplifying their dedication to fostering global perspectives.

With a family-oriented approach to philanthropy, Kathy and Eddie O’Brien embody the spirit of giving back, leaving an enduring legacy at UTC and its diverse range of initiatives. Their footprint of support not only enriches students’ academic and athletic experiences but also serves as an inspiration for future generations of Mocs.
