I Love UTC Week
What better way to celebrate how much you love UTC than along with everyone else who loves UTC! Here are all the special events and activities planned for I Love UTC Week, March 31 – April 4, 2025. So, whether you are a student, a faculty member, a staff member, an alum or you just love UTC, there’s something for everyone!

I Love UTC Week Kickoff

Start the week with fun and festivities! Join us for a friendly kickball game, a thank-you note station, and exciting giveaways. Plus, don’t forget to check out the Rubber Duck Scavenger Hunt

Keep your eyes peeled for 100 hidden rubber ducks around campus! 50 lucky ducks come with special coupons, so if you find one, you win! Join the fun and see if you can snag a prize while celebrating I Love UTC Week. Happy hunting!

Take a walk down memory lane! The Archives will showcase a refreshed look at the history of UTC’s beloved mascot. Learn how Scrappy came to be and celebrate the traditions that make UTC unique.
Campus Initiatives
Celebrate I Love UTC Week by helping a fellow Moc through donating to the on-campus food pantry, Scrappy’s Cupboard. Scrappy’s Cupboard supports all UTC students, faculty, and staff experiencing food insecurity.

- Food drive donation bins will be found in Lupton Hall 1st Floor, Library Info Desk, UC Room 399, and in the Chancellor’s Office.
- Can’t donate in-person? Donate online!
- Scrappy’s Cupboard is most in need of can openers, canned/boxed milk and milk alternatives, toilet paper, paper towels, sports drinks, cooking oils, canned fruit, canned meats, rice, breakfast bars and instant mashed potatoes. Scrappy’s Cupboard accepts all unexpired, unopened, non-perishable food and personal care items.
Alumni can submit an online form to receive a custom pennant, then will be encouraged to take a selfie with it and post on social tagging UTC Alumni to be entered to win gifts

To kick off the celebration, the Office of Advancement will deliver special door hang tags across campus via campus mail. Keep an eye out early in the week for this small token of appreciation and encouragement to join in the spirit of giving.
