For more than 90 years, Chattanooga Area Schools Federal Credit Union has built its mission around serving educators. Supporting UTC’s School of Education is a natural extension of that commitment and an investment in the teachers who will shape the region for generations to come.

Led by President and CEO David Siatkowski, the credit union sees firsthand the energy new educators bring to their profession and the impact they can have in schools and communities.

“We have been supporting educators for over 90 years, and each year we see new teachers with a fresh spirit and attitude toward their profession,” Siatkowski said. “We want to provide an environment that encourages that enthusiasm within the educational community.”

Through its support of the School of Education in UTC’s College of Health, Education and Professional Studies, Chattanooga Area Schools Federal Credit Union is helping prepare future teachers to enter classrooms ready to make a difference.

Siatkowski said the organization values the innovation and enthusiasm it sees in UTC graduates and the impact those qualities can have across the region.

“We see the School of Education create innovation, enthusiasm and spirit within their graduates each year,” he said. “These characteristics are then shared with the youth of our community and lead to many exciting careers and opportunities for everyone within our community.”

Many UTC graduates go on to serve in schools throughout the Chattanooga area, strengthening a community the credit union has served for decades.

“UTC’s School of Education produces many of the educators within our local community, and our organization shares a common interest in providing financial services to these professionals,” Siatkowski said. “It is essential and rewarding to see these professionals flourish throughout their careers.”

For Chattanooga Area Schools Federal Credit Union, supporting future educators is also an investment in the future of the community.
