Every Gift Tells a Story
Building connections. Inspiring generosity.
Fiscal Year 2025-26 Annual Report
At the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, every connection strengthens our mission and every act of generosity changes lives. Because of you, students discover new opportunities, faculty reach new heights and our city grows stronger.
Fiscal Year 2025–26 was a year defined by impact, one fueled by alumni pride, community partnerships and a shared belief that together, we can achieve more.

A Note From Advancement
This year was nothing short of extraordinary, with alumni, donors and friends helping UTC’s Advancement team raise over $32 million from 7,085 donors. Your generosity directly supported students, faculty and staff while reinforcing that UTC is a vital part of the growth and future of our region.
We celebrated the grand opening of the Wolford Center, groundbreakings for the Kennedy Health Sciences Building in November, the Rollins College of Business expansion in March and secured seven transformational seven-figure gifts. These achievements reflect the remarkable confidence and commitment of our supporters.
Due to the numerous campus construction projects underway, we have relocated the UC Foundation offices and our Alumni and Advancement teams to a temporary home at 835 Georgia Avenue, bringing a piece of UTC into the heart of the city.
Alumni engagement continues to soar, with 54,443 Mocs connected through events, campus visits and outreach efforts.
As we look ahead, we are building on the momentum that UTC’s new Chancellor, Dr. Lori Bruce, has brought to our campus and community.
As I plan to retire in the fall of 2025, I am excited about UTC’s bright future and all that is to come at Chattanooga’s university.
Go Mocs!

Mocs Club
It was a banner year for the Chattanooga Mocs. Numerous conference championships, a national tournament title and a record-breaking year in the classroom can all be traced back to the impact of giving to the Mocs Club. The total dollars raised and pledged were $10,709,310.51. That’s the largest amount on record for Chattanooga athletics.
“I don’t think you can say enough about our community. There is immense pride here in all things Chattanooga. It’s truly a special place. It’s also a testament to our coaches and student-athletes who are so engaged with it and bring great distinction through their work in the classroom as well as in competition.” – Vice Chancellor for Athletics Mark Wharton.

Endowment Numbers
The UC Foundation, established with an initial investment of $6 million when this campus joined the UT System in 1969, has grown an endowment exceeding $200 million. A true game-changer for UTC, the Foundation’s mission is to provide resources that support distinctive programs and promote bold initiatives that enrich the educational experience. An invested fund that spends a portion of the generated interest annually, the endowment is a perpetual tool that allows donors to have a long-lasting impact on students, faculty and staff.

Mocs Give Day
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga raised $2,899,459.06 from 2,201 donors during its fifth annual Mocs Give Day on Oct. 1. The day’s original fundraising goal of $2,000,000 from 2,000 donors was exceeded by nearly 45% in dollars raised.
“Almost 73% of all gifts on Mocs Give Day were $100 or less,” said UTC Vice Chancellor of Advancement Kim White. “That’s a powerful statistic showing that when people who love UTC come together, we can make a big difference. From supporting scholarships and student-athletes to the Counseling Center and WUTC, Mocs Give Day is a year-over-year success across our campus.”
This scholarship not only provides me with financial support but pushes me to continue to work hard towards my goals.
