Thanks to alumni and supporters like you, we raised $1,734,947.42 from 2,131 donors during our fourth annual Mocs Give Day on Oct. 3. This exceeded the day’s original fundraising goals of $1 million from 1,500 donors.

A record number of students, faculty and staff participated in Mocs Give Day this year, with over 600 students making gifts. Among the highlights of the day were $54,000 raised for Scrappy’s Cupboard, which provides food and other necessities to students in need, and over $1.1 million raised for Athletics.

In addition to athletics and academic programs, various student support programs like Mosaic and MOC Academy also benefited from Mocs Give Day. “Mocs Give Day is all about the collective power of giving. Almost 80% of all gifts were $100 or less,” said UTC Vice Chancellor of Advancement Kim White. “From supporting scholarships and athletics to study abroad opportunities and student support services, alumni and friends of UTC came together to support the areas on campus they are passionate about.”

Mocs Give Day is a testament to the generosity and spirit of the UTC community. The funds raised will support a wide range of programs and initiatives that help UTC students succeed. Thank you to everyone who gave on Mocs Give Day!
