Make a Big Impact with a Future Gift

When you include the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in your estate plans, your generosity creates a foundation for success for future Mocs and makes an impact for generations to come.

Many of our supporters say “I wish I could do more” to provide UTC students with resources to advance their dreams and achievements. Planned gifts offer just this opportunity. Unlike a cash gift, a planned gift is typically made from assets rather than income and comes to fruition after your lifetime.

Benefits of Giving

Planned gifts offer a powerful way to extend your generosity beyond your lifetime, creating a legacy that ripples through generations of Mocs. Even a smaller planned gift can have a significant impact.

Unlike a cash donation, a planned gift comes from your assets, not your income. It can be a bequest in your will, a remainder trust, a life insurance policy or even retirement plan assets. Each gift is unique, just like you, and offers its own advantages.

Join a community of dedicated donors who share a passion for UTC’s future.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Legacy Society recognizes donors who have made provisions to support the university in their gift planning. Legacy Society members receive regular communication and special invitations highlighting UTC’s exciting work and how philanthropy fosters achievement among our students and faculty.

How to Give

Planned gifts can include a bequest from a will or living trust to the University of Chattanooga Foundation. The University of Chattanooga Foundation exists as a repository for gifts aimed at benefiting the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Your attorney can help you with language to include the University of Chattanooga Foundation in your estate plan.
